Managing Partner Igor Rozenblit

Igor founded Iron Road Partners in 2021. He is a leading expert in financial regulation and helped shape the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s regulatory approach to the private capital markets. Igor focuses on helping clients successfully navigate a broad range of challenges stemming from regulatory examinations, investigations, litigation, disputes, and other crisis scenarios. His unique combination of investing experience, due diligence expertise, and a decade of service as the SEC’s primary private markets expert allows him to provide insightful and practical guidance to clients grappling with complex regulatory and operational issues.

While at the SEC, Igor held various leadership positions including Fellow in the Division of Enforcement’s Asset Management Unit, founder and Co-head of the Division of Examinations’ Private Funds Unit, and Co-lead for the agency’s inter-divisional Private Fund Specialized Working Group. Igor completed and supervised more than 250 examinations and dozens of enforcement investigations resulting in many seminal enforcement actions. His significant docket of cases, investigations and examinations included issues related to breaches of fiduciary duty, violations of the Investment Advisers Act’s anti-fraud provisions, valuation, fee and expense allocation, fund restructurings, stapled secondary transactions, manipulated auctions, insourcing, real estate/real assets issues, carried interest calculations, co-investment policies, private credit conflicts, related party transactions, cap table manipulation, structured products, ESG, Business Development Companies, and Real Estate Investment Trusts. Igor also trained SEC staffers including examiners, investigators and rulemakers on the private markets, and provided training outside the agency to officials including FBI agents, IRS agents, prosecutors from the Department of Justice, and examiners from the Small Business Administration.

Before joining the SEC, Igor held various senior investment roles. He led the North American private market investment activities for Amundi Asset Management, where he invested in and performed due diligence on hundreds of private equity investment managers. Prior to joining Amundi, Igor was a private equity investment professional completing equity, debt and structured investments in healthcare and industrial companies.

Igor holds a Master of Business Administration degree with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences including the Practicing Law Institute, SuperReturns, Private Equity International, Pension Bridge, GAIM Ops, Managed Fund Association, Association of Corporate Growth, SIFMA, and the Investment Adviser Association.

Paul joined Iron Road Partners as a Director in 2022 and was named Partner in 2024. Prior to joining Iron Road, he was a Senior Compliance Examiner and Staff Attorney for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he worked for nearly 20 years. At the SEC, Paul held various roles within the Division of Examinations and Enforcement, interacting with hundreds of registered investment advisers and broker-dealers. Paul began his SEC career conducting examinations of large, complex broker-dealers focusing on various trading and investment banking risks and compliance challenges. He later focused on enforcement investigations involving registered broker-dealers and investment advisers.

Paul finished his SEC career working for the Division of Examinations Private Funds Unit, leading many high-profile investment adviser and private fund exams. Deficiencies identified included breaches of fiduciary duty, violations of the Investment Advisers Act’s anti-fraud provisions, valuation, fee and expense allocation, real estate/real asset issues, carried interest calculations, co-investment policies, private credit conflicts, and related party transactions. Several of these examination deficiencies resulted in significant financial recoveries for investors.

Before joining the SEC, Paul was a compliance analyst for Linsco Private Ledger and worked in operations and trading for Mellon Private Asset Management.

Paul holds a Juris Doctorate degree with a Business and Financial Services concentration from Suffolk Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Connecticut College. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Emilie joined Iron Road Partners in 2023. Prior to joining Iron Road, she worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for eight years, most recently as Branch Chief of the Division of Examinations, Event and Emerging Risks Examination Team (EERT). Emilie began her SEC career as an examiner conducting numerous exams across complex private funds, investment advisers, and investment companies. She then helped form and lead the EERT, where she investigated a wide range of emerging risks within the industry and conducted exams of firms affected by significant market events.

While at the SEC, Emilie led and completed many high-profile examinations of investment advisers and private funds, several of which resulted in enforcement action. Some issues and deficiencies identified included breaches of fiduciary duty, violations of the Investment Advisers Act’s anti-fraud provisions, valuation, fee and expense allocation, co-investments, portfolio management, risk management, related party transactions, conflicts of interest, custody, cybersecurity, and alternative data.

Before joining the SEC, Emilie was a Senior Auditor with Ernst & Young’s Global Asset Management Practice, where she led global teams in performing financial statement audits of investment advisers and private funds with a focus on hedge, private equity and venture capital funds.

Emilie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business.

Scott joined Iron Road Partners in 2023 after working in the financial industry for over 30 years as both a lawyer and compliance professional. In his most recent financial services role, Scott served as Chief Compliance Officer for Two Sigma’s private equity and venture investment advisory units, creating, maintaining and developing testing for both compliance programs.

Before joining Two Sigma, Scott was Co-head of Compliance for the fixed income division of Credit Suisse’s investment bank. Scott was responsible for compliance for all credit products traded by Credit Suisse as well the firm’s structured products capital market group.

Earlier in his career, Scott was the Chief Compliance Officer for two other hedge fund advisors, both of which specialized in investing in structured financial products. He also served as senior in-house counsel at Citibank, Chase and Merrill Lynch, specializing in fixed income instruments with a particular emphasis on the trading and offerings of structured finance products and investment grade debt. While at Citibank, Scott was the lead attorney for the first SEC-registered CMBS offering. Scott began his career as a lawyer at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.

Just before joining Iron Road Partners, Scott fulfilled a lifelong dream by teaching history at a middle school in New Jersey.

Scott holds a Juris Doctorate degree from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Colgate University. He is a member of the New York Bar Association.

Jamie joined Iron Road Partners in 2024, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Iron Road, Jamie was the Americas Chief Compliance Officer at Wellington Management Company, where he led the teams responsible for all compliance matters in the U.S. and in Canada. He served as CCO for Wellington Management Company LLP, Wellington Alternative Investments LLC, Wellington Funds US LLC, Wellington Management Canada ULC, and Wellington’s affiliated broker-dealer, Wellington Funds Distributors Inc. While at Wellington, Jamie provided regulatory compliance advice across the firm; led SEC, CTFC, NFA, FINRA, OSC and OCC compliance programs; designed and implemented surveillance, testing and annual reviews; and successfully led numerous regulatory examinations across a wide range of business practices.

Previously, Jamie was the Chief Compliance Officer at Highfields Capital Management, where he built the firm’s 206(4)-7 compliance program and initially registered Highfields as an investment adviser with the SEC. Earlier, Jamie served in capital markets risk and compliance roles at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., and traded equities at Fleet Trading.

Jamie received his Bachelor of Arts in Policy and Management Studies from Dickinson College.

Jen joined Iron Road Partners in 2025.  Prior to joining Iron Road, she spent 24 years at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, most recently as an Exam Manager in the Division of Examinations, Private Funds Unit. In this role, she led and managed a team of examiners across the SEC’s regional offices, conducting examinations of investment advisers to complex private funds, including private equity, credit, real estate, and hedge funds.

Throughout her tenure at the SEC, Jen played a key role in identifying and assessing risks, controls, and compliance challenges affecting SEC Registrants.  Jen has extensive experience reviewing and identifying issues related to fiduciary duty breaches, valuation, fee and expense allocation, co-investments, portfolio management, conflicts of interest, and related party transactions.  Her work has led to significant financial recoveries for investors, enforcement actions, and improved industry adherence to federal securities laws.

Before joining the Private Funds Unit, Jen was an Examiner in the SEC Broker-Dealer Inspection Program, where she examined a broad range of broker-dealer entities focusing on various issues including retail matters, financial and operational controls, trading, unregistered securities offerings, investment banking, and internal controls.

Jen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Investments from The Bernard M. Baruch College.

Jim has served as a Senior Adviser for Iron Road Partners since 2021. He specializes in helping large asset managers and private equity firms untangle complex regulatory, legal and compliance issues. Jim is a leading authority on U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission examinations and effective compliance program design and implementation.

Earlier in his career, Jim served as Associate Regional Director and head of investment adviser and investment company examinations in the SEC’s New York Regional Office, as well as Chief Compliance Officer at Oppenheimer Asset Management. Prior to that, he was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Cornerstone Capital Management Holdings LLC, responsible for all compliance and legal issues at Cornerstone Capital Management LLC and Cornerstone Capital Management Holdings LLC.

Jim has also served as U.S. Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Aberdeen Asset Management; Senior Counsel at UBS Global Asset Management; Chief Compliance Officer at Bank of America Alternative Strategies; Senior Counsel at Deutsche Bank/Morgan Grenfell Asset Management; and Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Steinberg Priest.

Jim holds a Juris Doctorate degree from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Buffalo.

Matt has served as a Senior Adviser at Iron Road Partners since 2022. He is a leading expert in financial regulation and alternative investments. Matt worked for 21 years at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, most recently as Senior Special Counsel (Regulatory Counsel) in the Division of Examinations in the San Francisco Regional Office. There, he conducted examinations and was in charge of reviewing the office’s Deficiency Letters and Enforcement Referrals.

Before rejoining the SEC, Matt was a Vice President and Senior Counsel with Charles Schwab, and an Assistant General Counsel at GT Global (now part of Invesco).

Matt has taught securities regulation and corporate governance courses in the U.S., China and Eastern Europe, and participated in a SEC technical assistance program in Mexico and the Caribbean/Latin America. Since 2000, he has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he won the Adjunct Professor of the Year Award. Before attending law school, he worked in private accounting and attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Matt holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of the Law Review. He also has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Jason joined Iron Road Partners in 2024 as Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the development and delivery of technology products that streamline risk, regulatory and compliance operations.

An accomplished software leader, Jason brings over 25 years of experience at both B2B and B2C firms, including serving as the founding CTO of Fall Forward, a venture studio for tech startups. His earlier roles include CTO of CoreDial and VP and Head of Engineering at GameChanger Media. In each of these positions, Jason led major initiatives in backend services, enterprise software, video streaming, data analytics and communications technologies, significantly enhancing product capabilities and customer satisfaction.

Jason has also held senior leadership, software architect and engineering roles in the voice and video communication sectors at companies including Vidyo, ShoreTel and Aspect Software. His leadership in these roles resulted in the development of high-impact products used by millions and the attainment of several patents in diverse technological fields.

Jason holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

David Lynch CFO

David joined Iron Road Partners in 2026, serving as Chief Financial Officer responsible for finance and operations functions across the company.

With over 20 years of experience in finance and business operations within the IT services and SaaS industries, he has served as a key leader in multimillion-dollar engagements, driving financial process improvements, mergers and acquisitions, and data-driven decision-making for large corporations and mid-market firms.

David has held senior leadership roles in B2B services firms across various technology industries, and has extensive experience leading teams and initiatives within FP&A, data analytics, and business operations.  In his most recent role as CFO at Pathways Consulting Group, David collaborated on compensation plans, migrated accounting systems, and created annual operating plans.  Prior to that, at Bishop Fox, David created and managed the FP&A function with high visibility to executive leadership, developing complex financial data models for ERP implementations, delivering monthly financial analysis for board presentations, and building a three-year go-to-market plan with key metrics. He also initiated an XP&A/Data Analytics team and consolidated corporate reporting into Tableau CRM.

David’s career also includes significant positions at Hewlett Packard, Fruition Partners, and Rizing, all focused on financial modeling and predictability.

David holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Colorado State University.
